We are pleased to invite you to participate in the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Bridge Design Competition (BDC) 2025. Focusing on structural design, NTU BDC is an international competition where students can gain structural design experience relevant to the industry. The competition has seen continuous success, attracting students from various tertiary institutions in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. NTU BDC 2025 is a two-round technical case competition that stimulates the tendering process in the construction sector, with up to SGD $6,000 worth of cash prizes to be won. 
 
In the preliminary stage, which commences on 27th Feb 2025, participants will be tasked to design a virtual bridge model according to the technical specifications stated in the case. In the final round, the top 30 teams will compete by physically constructing a functional bridge using predetermined materials within a set timeframe. 
 
NTU will provide bridging courses for all participants, so participants need not worry about being disadvantaged! Registration Details 
  1. Student teams of all nationalities are welcome! 
  2. Each student team should comprise 2 to 3 participants from either the polytechnic or university level or equivalent (proof of student status is required). 
  3. Registration period is from 5 Feb 2025 (Wednesday) to 25 Feb 2025 (Tuesday). All times and dates are in Singapore Time (SGT). 
  4. Only the team leader needs to register on behalf of their team.
